Working as a Marketing Manager (temporary) in our Scientific, Technical, Medical and Scholarly business, you will be responsible for the creative development and implementation of print and online marketing strategies for assigned product areas. Other responsibilities include planning, implementing and analysis of campaign activities using the most effective marketing tactics and coordinating marketing efforts with other Wiley business units and subsidiaries. The Marketing Manager also oversees expense budgets to maximize and deliver global sales of assigned product area in targeted healthcare specialties and participates in the product development and acquisition process. Additionally you will coordinate efforts to integrate technology into the marketing mix through such means as educational efforts, sharing industry information, and competitive market intelligence.

• Must have 3 years of recent product marketing experience, ideally in publishing, but must have familiarity with basic marketing concepts and processes
• Experience using database systems and web-based platforms, as well as Microsoft Office products.
• Familiar with social media, mobile media, and HTML
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, problem- solving skills, and a customer-focused approach
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and fast paced deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Understand and participate in market research and implement go-to-market messaging based on research results
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is required, graduate education preferred
