The temporary Manager, Mobile & Emerging Media is responsible for day-to-day management of key mobile/emerging products and projects. The Manager oversees projects that are specific to the mobile/emerging work area, and also collaborates with the larger Digital team in the ideation, development, and execution of digital initiatives that have a mobile extension. As a member of the Digital team at USA Network, the Manager also interacts with multiple teams within the company, including brand and on-air marketing, creative, and production, in support of the networks on-air programs. This role reports to the Director, Mobile & Emerging Media.

Responsibilities
- Specific areas of project/product responsibility include but are not limited to: mobile web; mobile applications and cross-platform applications (e.g. connected TV); second-screen implementations; and special projects incorporating novel or emerging technologies
- Support Director, Mobile & Emerging Media, in project management and product development efforts, including:
- Define and document project/product requirements
- Work with internal and external (third-party vendor) teams to develop and launch mobile/emerging interactive applications and or campaigns
- Track deliverables against deadlines to ensure on-time launches
- Assist in QA testing and bug documentation
- Communicate critical information on risks and progress to key stakeholders
- Maintain the networks mobile/emerging products, including quality-monitoring and updating the USA mobile website, USA Anywhere app, and USA pages on Zeebox app to ensure consistently available functionality and that USA sites/apps/platforms accurately reflect network programming, branding, art, and information
- Assist in the creation and distribution of content for second-screen and synch-to-broadcast experiences, including:
- Advance screening of program episodes
- Ideate, research and write content that relates to the episode
- Procure any other needed assets such as photos and video clips
- Learn and use tools required for the ingesting and distribution of second-screen content to end users
- Oversee the collateral efforts required for marketing of mobile/emerging product launches and campaigns:

- Work with Digital team to procure needed promotional graphics and pages
- Interface with brand and social media marketing to ensure promotional plans and effort across mobile messaging and social networking platforms
- Develop creative briefs for on-air promotional spots, tracking spot production and delivery
- Coordinate with on-air marketing for snipe, end-credit squeeze and episodic-throw promotion

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years related and progressive experience
- Demonstrated creative and technical adeptness
- Proven track record of achievement at the intersection of television, mobile technologies, and digital and social media
- Basic aptitude with Photoshop and video editing preferred

Eligibility Requirements
- Must be willing to work in New York, NY
- Must be willing to submit to a background investigation
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
