A tremendous opportunity has opened up to be part of an exciting transition at an investment research firm. This well established investment publisher has developed an amazing suite of digital tools and products that will be ready for customers in the Summer of 2013.

We are looking for a seasoned digital marketing expert to develop and implement a solid Product Promotion Plan utilizing all channels that make sense to the campaign(s). The Company which has been a traditional print publishing company sin business for over 75 years is in an aggressive transition to a Digital Content Provider. We are looking for a high energy, extremely motivated and creative individual to lead the promotion and advertising of our digital product launch.

This person will play a critical role in setting the product development strategy for all digital advertising and affiliate revenue streams across a number of core titles and brands.

The ideal candidate should possess experience in the digital advertising industry either from a media business or affiliate / advertising network. You will have first class project management skills with proven ability to take new products through the promotion pipeline.

Responsibilities:

•Strong understanding of Investment Research

•Knowledge of both Retail and Institutional Financial Customers

•Develop conversion strategies

•Develop multi-channel / integrated marketing campaigns in conjunction with the marketing team ensuring a customer-centric approach

•Testing and learning through reporting and measurement metrics

•Responsible for the strategic media (digital and traditional) planning and implementation on certain channels to deliver an integrated communications plan.

•Lead discussions in marketing strategies as a subject matter expert pertaining to digital and traditional media executions

•Incorporate key consumer, competitive, and landscape insights regarding channel usage and specific channel-level research and vehicle selection

•Broaden the team’s solution set through the adoption and use of new media

•Analyze and interpret quantitative and qualitative information in order to propose recommendations that will have tangible marketing and business impact for clients

Requirements:

•8-10+ years of experience in media strategy and media/communications planning

•Think strategically and articulate complex concepts in simple-to-understand terms for non-technical audience, as well as the ability to speak on a more technical level with marketing and media terminology.

•Ability to Work with teams across multiple offices and communicate ideas and strategy clearly.

•Collaborate with Web and Search Strategists to create media plans

•Strong understanding of digital media, social media, search engine marketing, and mobile marketing
