An exciting opportunity to play a major role in transitioning a traditional financial publishing company into a digitally focused content provider. Our ideal candidate has worked in a fast-paced, customer focused environment.


•Manage projects from inception (design) to production launch/roll out.
•Work with the company’s business and editorial managers to translate strategic objectives into tactical projects; drive audience growth and conversions by melding user experience design, content strategy, engagement tactics, and marketing plans. Be able to track, rationalize and forecast such growth.
•Write requirements documents, define product features for the development team, and create budgets and schedules , as well as support plans.
•Create presentations for project stakeholders.
•Drive end-to-end development and production efforts by coordinating with Product Development, B-to-B Sales, Editorial, Technology, Customer Service and Marketing.
•Ability to manage and staff outsourcesd projects.
•Compose QA plans and oversee application testing; make go-live decisions.
•Post-launch, refine and optimize projects in light of post-launch testing; measure success against project requirements and marketing plans.
•Obsessive about organization, frequent communication to stakeholders, and experience to forecast implication of near-term decisions on future deliverables. Must be comfortable with boardroom presentations and other oral communications as well as digital.
•Articulate and document agreed upon requirements.
•Create clear communication channels with all members of the project team and upper management.
•Prepare for and run formal and informal team meetings.
•Assist in the development of building alpha and beta testing teams and work with beta customers.
•All aspects of project development including:
oDeveloping project estimates
oDeveloping project plans
oPreparing comprehensive project scopes (deliverables, schedules, budgets, risks,etc)
oConduct project status meetings
oPrepare budgets and review bills.
oDevelop and maintain critical issues documents
oPrepare and escalate all scope change documentation
oAssist in preparing functional specifications


•7+ years managing Digital Projects
•2+ years managing projects within product development
•Experience in a CMMI level 2 or 3 environment
•Expert in Project Development
•Excellent understanding and interest in all things interactive: You must be fluent in all types of development, from big site process to simple, quick banner production and new social platforms.
•Proven track record of launching cutting-edge interactive projects. You are experienced in working with a range of large budget projects with multiple work-streams and 3rd parties.
•Results oriented, organized, highly motivated and detail-oriented with a high level of energy/high sense of urgency.
•Master interactive / software process from an information architecture, interaction design, design and technical perspective. Strong hands-on wire-framing capabilities
•Basic HTML, XML, and CSS knowledge
•Knowledge of quality assurance process
•Ability to communicate with staff at all levels.
•Knowledge of branding
•Proven ability to leverage analytics to inform and influence decision-making
•Ability to navigate challenging situations and make quick decisions.
•Expertise in digital usability and best practices
•Excellent problem solving skills
•Experience working in a fast-paced and high growth environment
