The Orange County Register is under new dynamic leadership and growing fast! We are developing a powerful team of magazine sales executives who excel in creating powerful multi-platform advertising programs that yield results for local, regional, and national clients. As we grow our team, we are seeking talent that can offer our advertisers solutions which bring them the best return on their investment. The ideal candidate will sell display advertising into the various Orange County Register family of glossy magazines including OCMETRO, OCFAMILY, Southland Golf, and Coast Magazines. In addition this candidate will cross-sell into special sections as well as relevant sections of the Orange County Register. You will develop and maintain a portfolio of accounts primarily in Orange County as well as working closely with their national offices if applicable. This position will consist of prospecting/cold calling, pipeline development and account development on a daily basis. We are looking for seasoned sales professionals who are able to think on their feet, be strategic with marketing campaigns with any genre of client, and sell into multiple titles. Your performance will be measured on your ability to maintain excellent customer service as well as secure, maintain and increase revenue and market share. The primary responsibilities include: strategic prospecting, conducting needs assessments, idea and proposal generation, presentation of advertising recommendations and closing the sale.Please send your resume to email@example.com.
