Senior Inventory Associate
We are currently seeking a Senior Inventory Associate to support the inventory management function - including maintaining optimal inventory levels, fill rates, and inventory turns, and keeping manufacturing costs in line with annual budgeted goals. Responsibilities:-Analyze rate of sales and inventory levels in order to estimate replenishment needs and resolve inventory-related issues as they arise. -Perform various analytical functions--e.g., comparing actual release orders to sales projections for frontlist releases and assessing sell-through at account level to shipments. -Monitor and maintain warning levels in inventory planning system, factoring in lead times and minimum reprint quantities. Order reprints when conditions warrant. -Prepare and track bindery shipments to select customers. -Initiate warehouse work orders for various displays, promotions, and stock maintenance. -Compile out-of-print and remainder lists and periodically conduct item maintenance. Maintain and distribute weekly reprint log. -In a support capacity, prepare accurate material for weekly Operations meetings and follow up on decisions and action plans. -Interface with financial, editorial, production, sub rights, sales, and warehouse personnel on inventory-related matters.
