Random House Inc. is looking for an experienced project manager with strong business analysis skills to deliver results on our most mission-critical strategic projects around digital, marketing, sales, technology and publishing operations, spanning multiple lines of our business.

The Sr. Business Analyst will assist the Strategic Projects Group in all phases of the project life cycle including project justification, analysis, business process design, and functional requirements. The Sr. Business Analyst will work with Project Managers and Sponsors from diverse operational business areas. There is a significant project management component to this position as well as managing vendors and involvement with internal customers.

The position will be responsible for the following:
?Assist in managing projects from original concept through final implementation. Work with project management tools to create and maintain project schedules, estimate time requirements, monitor milestone completion, track all phases of the project product/service lifecycle, and coordinate tasks and actions.
?Work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, designers, developers, and IT to document, review, and analyze requirements, business justifications, specifications, use cases and test cases, and business process workflows. Manage requirements and other documentation throughout the entire lifecycle.
?Create mockups, prototypes and wireframes that conform to best practice business process, information architecture and user interface design.
?Communicate project information to stakeholders - facilitate and manage scope, manage change, identify users and stakeholders, and provide timely reporting of issues that impact project progress,
?Consult with internal clients to identify, clarify, and resolve complex issues critical to our strategic and operating success.

Our requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

?Experience with data manipulation, report writing and analysis skills
?Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
?Ability to work independently
?Experience with business process modeling/consulting
?Knowledge of web technologies and their applications
?Ability to communicate with technology teams
?Minimum 3 -5 years experience as a Business Analyst.
?Demonstrated ability to act as the liaison between the business clients and technical teams (internal and external) to deliver business solutions.
?Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
?Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including MS Project and Visio.
