Job functions:
?5.1 surround sound audio mixing and operation of associated support equipment for New York regional sports cable network
?Work creatively and collaboratively with Operations management and production to establish sound production practices for the delivery of content within sports, news, and topical programming
?Become fully knowledgeable in all aspects of operation and basic maintenance of the production audio systems including but not limited to: audio console, intercom system, audio server, microphones, other audio or communication related support systems
?Perform daily set-up operations and continuously monitor audio levels from all sources throughout production to ensure consistent quality in accordance with established industry standards and guidelines
?Work pro-actively and as directed to maintain the integrity of all associated audio and support equipment
?Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
?Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance

?Minimum 5 years’ experience mixing audio in live news / sports or similar production environment
?Previous experience with SSL audio boards & ENCO audio servers a plus
?Knowledge of RF microphone, IFB and PL systems a must
?Qualified applicants must demonstrate and maintain an understanding of established industry standards, equipment and quality control
?College degree preferred
?Proficiency in live news, sports, talk and remote production operations required
?Proficiency in iNEWS or similar newsroom computer system a plus
?Strong work ethic, positive attitude and leadership qualities with the ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities a must
?Ability to work non-traditional hours, weekends & holidays
?Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment
