Purpose:

The Manager, Post Production will be responsible for post-production responsibilities for photography across multiple NBCU properties. This role will be based in New York, NY and will report to the Director of Digital Production.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Manage and facilitate the post-production on all photography including episodic, gallery, corporate shoots and events for USA Network, Syfy and Bravo.
  • Track incoming photography, manage talent approvals, edit and distribute final images to NBC Universal’s press site.
  • Manage and train interns, hire and oversee freelance retouchers and editors.
  • Support photographers post production process and delivery of photos to NBC Universal.

    Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Photography, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years relevant work experience

  • Ability to be collaborative, work well in a quick paced environment and under strict deadline conditions.
  • Ability to work additional hours.
  • Must be computer literate and have strong working knowledge of photo asset management software and systems as well as a working knowledge in prepress workflow including color management and digital imaging tools and software is desired.
  • Must have advanced retouching skills as well as working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Photoshop, Photo Mechanic and Adobe Bridge.
  • Prefer 5 years’ experience in digital imaging.
  • Prior entertainment/photography experience preferred.
