Freelance Writer/Producer - Russian On Air Promos

Translate all promos and interstitials into Russian – must make appropriate and succinct adaptations that include slang and idioms – with 100% accuracy
Supervise audio sessions for the mixing of all Russian-language tracks
Write and produce original Russian on-air promotions for the Russian market
Bring Russian sensibility to the network’s promotional message and image- must have an extensive knowledge of all things Russian entertainment as well as American pop culture
Generate ideas for promos and promotional campaigns for the Russian market as well as occasionally other International territories.
Responsible for filling out paperwork and working with other departments to facilitate production and delivery of material
Develop creative titles and synopsis in Russian for EPGs and listings
Produce occasional sales reels to support ad sales and marketing
Work with On Air Design to build customized graphics for the Russian channel
Coordinate subtitles ordering and placement on promos
Additional duties as assigned by supervisor
Minimum 2 years professional experience translating English to Russian.
Experience writing and producing television promos for the Russian market
Familiarity with Russian television programs, advertising, and promotional creative aesthetics, editing pacing and styles; as well as American entertainment and pop culture.
Must be responsible, accurate, creative, organized, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
Hands-on experience with the Avid non-linear edit system (or similar) preferred but not required
