Morning Maintenance Engineer
Work closely with other departments to help with technical needs of the facilities Installation and Maintenance of technical equipment Facilitate repairs and preventative maintenance Assist in Engineering coverage during Live Event Programming and after hours Assist in installation of new systems and equipment Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Chief Engineer Assist in outside technical operations and ENG Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned Punctual, regular, and consistent attendanceQualifications Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Broadcast Engineering Associates Degree or equivalent in MIS, Electronics Engineering or Broadcast Digital Video Thorough knowledge of SDI and HD video systems Thorough knowledge of digital production switchers, digital cameras, audio and routing systems Experience in repair and maintenance of studio components, cameras, robotic pedestals, switchers, audio and video Proficiency with Non Linear editing systems, Aurora Edit (GV)/AVID NLE/Velocity (Harris) Thorough knowledge of computer and IT systems Understanding all aspects of Standard and High Definition television Strong work ethic, positive attitude and leadership qualities with the ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities a must Ability to work non-traditional hours, weekends & holidays Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV through nbcunicareers.com to be considered Must be willing to submit to a background investigation Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States Must be 18 years or older Internal applicants must submit via the NBCU Career Opportunity SystemNBC Universal is an AA/EOE/Drug Free workplaceInterested candidates must submit a resume/CV through www.nbcunicareers.com to be considered.
