We are currently seeking a sales coordinator for our New York office.

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, loves working with people and is highly proficient in Excel and Word. We are looking for someone who thrives within a fast-paced environment and can juggle multiple tasks.

The Sales Coordinator position requires someone who is skilled in word processing, spreadsheets and time management software. He/she will prepare letters, maintain schedules, client contacts, and communicate project deadlines throughout the sales team. He/she will be required to set up meetings, conference calls, and answer phones for various sales representatives. He/she will also contribute by creating media kits, coordinating special projects, and compiling large amount of research for the sales staff and other team members.

We are looking for someone with strong interpersonal skills, as he/she will act as a liaison between The Hollywood Reporter and clients. Duties include inputting orders, monitoring competitive ads, and assisting a number of sales representatives in their own day-to-day duties.

Qualifications Needed:
Bachelors Degree
A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in sales/advertising (internships count)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
Working knowledge of social networking and media websites
Ability to work with strict deadlines
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
A team player with a great attitude!

Qualifications Desired (but not necessary):
Previous advertising tracking and marketing skills
Experience doing Internet research
A strong passion and understanding of pop culture, film, television, and media
