Duties include:--Installing, upgrading, maintaining, and repairing studio broadcast and IT equipment. --Assuring reliable technical set up and operation of equipment.--Assisting with documentation & maintaining documentation of engineering systems.--Working with the Operations & Production staff to identify and repair basic technical problems; brings larger issues to the attention of the Chief Engineer.--Troubleshooting video, audio and IT issues and providing rapid resolutions.--Performing and documenting preventative maintenance of all equipment.--Having the ability to quickly and accurately troubleshoot issues in a high pressure fast paced environment.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: --Strong knowledge of technologies used in a television broadcast environment. --Good understanding of IT with working knowledge of Windows, Windows Server, Cisco, etc. --Ability to prioritize and complete tasks on time and with quality. --Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights from ladders or similar equipment.Qualifications and Other Requirements: --Minimum of a two year trade/technical school degree in Electronics.--Three or more years broadcast engineering experience, or related field.--SBE certification desired but not required.--Russian Speaking a plus but not required.Notes: Our team provides a competitive salary, health insurance and of paid time off.
