Duties include:
--Installing, upgrading, maintaining, and repairing studio broadcast and IT equipment.
--Assuring reliable technical set up and operation of equipment.
--Assisting with documentation & maintaining documentation of engineering systems.
--Working with the Operations & Production staff to identify and repair basic technical problems; brings larger issues to the attention of the Chief Engineer.
--Troubleshooting video, audio and IT issues and providing rapid resolutions.
--Performing and documenting preventative maintenance of all equipment.
--Having the ability to quickly and accurately troubleshoot issues in a high pressure fast paced environment.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
--Strong knowledge of technologies used in a television broadcast environment.
--Good understanding of IT with working knowledge of Windows, Windows Server, Cisco, etc.
--Ability to prioritize and complete tasks on time and with quality.
--Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights from ladders or similar equipment.

Qualifications and Other Requirements:
--Minimum of a two year trade/technical school degree in Electronics.
--Three or more years broadcast engineering experience, or related field.
--SBE certification desired but not required.
--Russian Speaking a plus but not required.
