BRIC Arts | Media | Bklyn, a multi-disciplinary organization dedicated to providing access to and understanding of contemporary art, performing arts and community media, seeks independent video producers to serve as production consultants for BRIC Media Share. This new grant program provides Brooklyn non-profits with video production support and mentoring to promote and inform the public about their work.

Specifically, BRIC requests proposals from qualified media makers to work intimately with Brooklyn non-profits to create several video projects while serving as a mentor to lead staff through the production experience, ensuring that content creation continues after the end of the grant.

Project Overview
BRIC Media Share: Partnership Production Assistance Grant
The independent video producer will serve as a project manager, lead producer, and staff mentor to BRIC Media Share non-profits to create customized video projects.
Anticipated length of engagement: 2 - 6 months, starting March 2013.

Project Scope
- Meet regularly and work with an assigned Brooklyn non-profit to produce regularly-occurring video content during the duration of the BRIC Media Share grant.
- Produce, shoot and edit video content as specified in agreement with Brooklyn non-profit organizations.
- Meet regularly with community media partnership staff to assess video project's benchmarks and content production goals.
- Assist BRIC's staff with the execution of customized curriculum as part of staff development to meet projected benchmarks.
- Work with non-profit's staff to provide hands-on production experience during the creation of video projects.
