The ideal candidate has a proven track record in media sales at a prominent digital publisher. We're looking for an energetic self-starter with a consultative sales approach who is pro-active in driving revenue and increasing the client base. The candidate possesses a proven ability to plan, develop, and implement online sales strategies, as well as a successful track record of meeting sales goals. You must be results-driven, have strong analytical and creative skills and be committed to creating new advertising opportunities.
- Proactively prospect, qualify, grow, and maintain an account list while meeting annual revenue goals
- Help develop sales strategies, respond to RFPs and generate proposals that meet the objectives of both the advertiser and the business
- Engage and strategize with agencies and clients to determine their business needs, and formulate ad sales programs and solutions to meet those goals.
- Establish and cultivate strong relationships by conducting face to face sales calls and client entertainment
- Proactively communicate account forecasts and sales information to sales management
- Assume campaign ownership to ensure full delivery and proper pacing of advertising campaign
- Bachelor’s degree with 5 - 7 years digital and or multi-media sales experience
- Sharp, detail-oriented, thorough and assertive
- Experience selling in the Beauty, Retail or Pharmaceutical areas are a plus
- Show a high degree of self-motivation and work well both as an individual and within a team environment
- Proven track record of success driving revenue through the development of long-term strategic relationships
- Excellent communication, analytical, time management and presentation skills
- Customer focused with a demonstrated track record of developing successful account relationships
- High-energy individual who thrives in a start-up environment
