Seeking an individual to assist with the day-to-day operation of departments that report to the Senior Director of Finance and the President & General Manager of Comcast SportsNet Bay Area

Responsibilities:
  • Support President & GM and the management team of Comcast SportsNet Bay Area
  • Maintain and support a staff of approximately 150 employees with office and supply needs, desktop administration and building management services
  • Schedule and maintain President/GM’s daily calendar, travel itineraries and related arrangements
  • Administer contract approved documents for the President/GM and Sr. Finance Director. This includes, but is not limited to agreements, payment forms, and travel and expense reports
  • Allocate and distribute sports team tickets to affiliate partners and sales clients. Maintain a detailed log of ticket requests and allocations for quarterly audits
  • Supervise the front office coordinator position and the office phone system, providing additional coverage, answering and troubleshooting viewer phone calls
  • Responsible for coordinating contracts with office vendors and researching new equipment as needed
  • Effectively communicate guidelines for workplace conduct to employees, manage and address employee queries and feedback
  • Help organize staff events and team-building exercises
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
  • Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance

    Qualifications:
  • Minimum 4 year college degree and 2 years work experience in a corporate environment
  • Prior experience as an executive assistant, office manager, or receptionist required
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Must be well organized and friendly, with the ability to multi-task in a high energy and fast paced environment
  • Must be creative and detail oriented with a strong work ethic
  • Must be accurate and efficient with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficient with all Windows applications, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Bay Area sports teams is preferred
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude and leadership qualities with the ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities a must
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours, weekends & holidays
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment
