Sales Account Manager
We are seeking a Sales Account Manager (with 2-5 years experience of demonstrable success) to increase the sales account results for Qmags in our Midtown office, which is near Penn Station. The ideal candidate must enjoy the day-to-day challenge of helping to build our account base in a very competitive marketplace. Job Description•Work closely with the VP Business Development to identify new prospective accounts•Build relationships with organizations aligned with the core audience for our products •Develop online and offline marketing initiatives for new prospective accounts •Using email and phone, contact prospective accounts to determine their interest in Qmags products; prioritize the prospects and close the sale.•Create and maintain a prospecting database for new business development. •Sell at conference exhibitions (3-4 annually)•Develop online and offline marketing initiatives and sales materials for prospective clients Requirements•College degree in business, advertising, marketing or similar field•Good interpersonal, oral and written skills•Very computer literate (social media, Internet)•Strong sales skills •Good Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Helpful, But Not Required•Knowledge and interest in digital media and/or magazine publishing and online marketing strategies •Background in magazine publishing, advertising sales and support •Knowledge of CRM software Salary/commission/benefits•Base salary plus commissions•This is a commission-weighted position with a modest salary so please do not apply if you’re not able to produce sales results.•Major medical benefits are available.Please include salary requirements.
