The ideal candidate is a business savvy web manager who can help us move our portfolio of B2B websites to the next level utilizing their experience in experimenting, innovating, and evaluating social content strategy, to help us build creative social media products that leverage our assets and market position.

Ideal candidates should have a balanced blend of creative, marketing, technical and business experience. We will only hire hungry creative individuals that want to step up and make a serious impact. Where you went to school is not important; raw talent and a drive to succeed are.
-Develop and maintain a comprehensive social media strategy that defines how social media marketing techniques will be applied to increase visibility and traffic across multiple branches of Questex Media Group.
oNOTE: An effective comprehensive social media strategy will manifest itself in the form of a “road map” that can be used by all brands/departments within a company to develop section specific tactics. This offers a certain level of autonomy and creates opportunities for creativity!
-Lead the development of organization-wide social media management standards, policies and rules of engagement for social media.
-Define key performance indicators and implement enterprise level measurement, analytics, and reporting methods to gauge success.
-Mentor and provide training to communication and management professionals throughout the organization on best practices for creating, managing, monitoring, and developing content for social networks
-Work with various branches of Questex to explore and identify ways to integrate social media into business strategies and marketing campaigns
-Apply marketing research and development methods to learn and understand emerging trends and technologies and to communicate this knowledge clearly and concisely
-Author blogs, Facebook posts, tweets and other engagement copy for multiple brands
-Develop sweepstakes to increase brand loyalty and interaction to be run on various social platforms.

-1 to 3 years’ experience in a professional setting working in social media
-Entrepreneurial and comfortable in ambiguous environments with shifting priorities
-Exceptional communication skills (written and oral), and the ability to adapt
-Ability to prioritize and manage various tasks under tight deadlines
-Positive attitude and love of all things social media!
-Experience working with Wildfire, Buddy Media, Gigya, Radian6, etc. preferred
