The Role
Bloomberg's Media Licensing and Distribution (MLD) group is seeking a Head of Product Management - responsible for overseeing all aspects of product development and distribution to MLD clients. The MLD group is responsible for licensing Bloomberg content to media clients globally and the distribution of Bloomberg Television in the Americas.

The Head of Product Management will manage a team of MLD product managers responsible for the development of News, Data and Video products and the execution and delivery of these products to the marketplace. As senior member of the MLD group, the Head of Product Management will work across divisions within Bloomberg including Bloomberg News, BTV, Global Data and other content creation teams to determine which content fits customer needs to create packages and services targeted to MLD clients. The leader will work closely with MLD Sales and Marketing to ensure that we have proper go-to-market strategy for all product releases. The role includes managing the relationship with R&D and various vendors and working with other Product Managers in Bloomberg Media to optimize use of shared services.

-Drive development and roadmap for products targeted to MLD clients
-Manage distribution and execution products, including final delivery of product to clients
-Act as principal liaison for MLD with other product manager across Bloomberg
-Manage relationship with the vendors to ensure delivery systems meet customer needs
-Ensure all MLD product launches align with business needs and are delivered in a timely manner

-Bachelor's degree
-8+ years of recent and relevant product management experience, including with a media, news or financial information organization
-Extensive knowledge of content generated at Bloomberg
-Background in technology and experience overseeing programmers
-Understanding of content workflows
-Ability to creatively solve problems and understand components necessary to achieve desired outcomes
-Results-oriented with superior verbal and written communication skills
-Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
-Prior employee leadership experience
