?Manage the social media pages connected to several of our publications. This could include the website, Facebook profile, Twitter page, digital iPad version, Pinterest page, Tumblr blog, and any other digital properties that will help to bring recognition to the magazine and promote the brand.
?Keeping a finger on the pulse of the greater social media climate. Recognizing trends in the digital field and bringing them to these publications with the goal of growing subscriptions and ad sales.
?Email marketing
?Collaborate with Managing Editors and Editors-in-Chief on the strategy behind uploading content to the website and social media pages.
?Grow the online community by interacting with users on the website and social media pages. Responding to posts, creating dialogue in the digital sphere, etc.
?Become proficient in the content management system used for the back end of our websites.


?Degree in journalism, publishing, media, or other related field.
?Strong knowledge of all social media channels and how to use them to our best advantage.
?2-3 years’ experience working in a deadline-oriented publishing or journalism atmosphere.
?Ability to switch gears and work on several different projects and subject areas simultaneously.
?Quick learner and ability to work well with a small and hard-working staff.
