The Job:We’re seeking a seasoned PR professional to lead the in-house press team and drive press coverage for HowAboutWe.com.This is a job for someone who loves PR. You should have 3-7 years of agency experience in NYC with some tech start-up experience. The prospect of building an incredible brand through strategic media communications into a household name should feel like the perfect opportunity.Key Responsibilities:-Overseeing the execution of long-term press strategy and working with the press team to create brand-building campaigns with specific, targeted objectives.-Operating as the living extension of the HowAboutWe brand and securing ongoing, multi-platform media coverage, including TV, print, digital, radio and more.-Identifying potential coverage opportunities and working to promote product releases, HowAboutWe original content and marketing initiatives.-Developing new and strategic relationships with print, broadcast and digital media journalists and influencers-Working closely with the CEOs, marketing and product teams to develop creative and integrated programs that increase brand awareness.-Placing HowAboutWe's CEOs and spokespeople in the forefront of the conversation about modern love and dating.The Ideal Candidate:-Is Smart.
