Pace is looking for an Interactive Managing Editor to drive the production of digital content in multiple mediums for a highly respected Fortune 100 client. The various lines of business include websites and social media. The Interactive Managing Editor has a commitment to high content quality, efficient and effective internal workflows, analytics-informed approaches to content choices (including SEO and SMO), and most of all, exceptional customer service to the client. The Interactive Managing Editor collaborates closely with the art, editing and account service professionals on the client’s team at Pace, and reports to the Content Director.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

•Leading on-time delivery of content to client
•Content editing for multiple mediums
•Communicating with contributors and providing feedback on work quality/revision requests
•Idea brainstorming within Pace and with client; data visualization experience preferred
•Keeping appropriate records on content process, production, client changes, etc.
•Supervising seasonal interns

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

•Subject matter expertise in financial services/personal finance
•5-7 years experience in writing and editing, including writing for websites, blogs and social media; video and infographic content experience preferred
•Proven ability to coordinate efforts of multiple contributors in a deadline-sensitive environment
•Ability to shape content that is accurate, engaging and meets client objectives
•Presentation skills a plus
•Calmness under pressure a plus
•Robust communicator and self-starting project manager; anticipates team needs
