Responsibilities:
-Assist in the execution of marketing efforts for 2013 CLIO Awards and sister brand events
-Research and build prospect lists to drive event attendance
-Make outbound phone calls to prospects stimulate ticket sales
-Develop marketing calendar and timeline to track all efforts
-Manage relationship with external vendors including for email marketing and online registration
-Set up event page for ticket sales using Eventbrite. Enter orders as needed and pull registration and financial reports weekly.
-Coordinate with internal and external digital teams to get event pages live
-Responsible for updating registration grid to keep senior management informed on budget progress
-Process invoices, update marketing budget & supply operations with expenses in a timely manner to ensure P&L is updated properly
-Establish partnerships with key industry associations.
-Work with PR agency to issue Press Release(s) on event + winners as well as pitch plan
- Field incoming inquiries regarding event and ticket sales
-Work with onsite registration company day/night of event to ensure smooth check-in experience for guests
-Work collaboratively with art director editorial, sales and operations to ensure overall event success
assigned

Skills:
Prior marketing and sales experience strongly preferred. Should be proficient in Microsoft office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with online registration sites like Eventbrite and CMS systems like Drupal are helpful but not required.
