Radio Sales Account Executive
The RoleBloomberg will shortly be launching a radio station in Boston and we are searching for sales executives to spearhead this exciting initiative. The successful candidates will focus on developing new accounts for the station across a wide range of financial, auto, corporate, technology and luxury accounts. The candidates will work with Boston based clients and advertising agencies through across all aspects of the sales process. We are looking for "self-starters" with strong presentation and organizational skills.Key responsibilities include:-Build and grow a list of core Bloomberg Radio accounts-Continuous prospecting and presentations with senior executives at both clients and advertising agencies-Pitching to agencies’ planning and account teams-Providing weekly updates on the number of prospects, new business meetings and pending sales-Co-ordination with Bloomberg's other media properties-Execution and follow upQualifications:-5+ years of recent and relevant media sales experience, ideally with a radio background.-Strong track record of new business development, including with the automotive category.-Successful track record & experience working directly with senior marketing executives at the client level, and preferably major ad agencies as well.-Strong computer skills are necessary, particularly proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel & Salesforce.
