Marketing Manager, Conferences/Tradeshows
If you are an experienced Tradeshow and/or Conference Marketing Manager who is both creative and analytical and wants an opportunity to be strategic and innovative, this position may be right for you.To be considered for this creative opportunity you MUST have at least 5-7 years of experience as a marketing manager of tradeshows or large conferences in a media or publishing company. You must be skilled at creating and executing event marketing plans and budgets through reconciliation. You must be comfortable with creative copywriting to sell, cross-sell and up-sell new and existing clients (i.e sponsors and delegates). You will have had experience implementing email, blogs, webinars, mass media, podcasts, etc. or are excited to start using them. An understanding of segmentation, from value-based to behavior-base and experience in building and maintaining strategic partnerships (with magazines, associations and other partners) and alliances are required.A college degree is preferred. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, HTML-authoring, Adobe Photoshop & Macromedia, and other marketing-based software. The ability to be self-directed and manage a variety of projects in a fast-paced environment, is critical to being successful in this role.At Summit Business Media we recruit proven professionals.
