•Develop prospect lists and recruit new publishers by proactively presenting the benefits of joining LIN Digital’s network (via email and phone, meetings).
•Research and understand features, benefits, and other details of competitors programs in the market.
•Build out specific packages for the sales teams based on historic buys and develop new ones based on verticals, demo and market demand.
•Manage publishers throughout their lifecycle via regular email contact (check-ins, notifications regarding program changes, announcements, etc.)
•Work with the Director of Media, SVP of Media Operations and SVP Sales to build the Comscore ranking of LIN Digital
•Communicate progress to publishers within the network and offer recommendations for improvement and growth to be part of the LIN Digital Network.
•Understand the complete lifecycle of a publisher and constantly identify ways to improve the publisher sales/service process.
•Collaborate with support and/or technology resources when needed to update both sales and Account Management teams.
•Collaborate with sales and account management staff to understand inventory demand, opportunities for focus/growth, and client feedback regarding publisher inventory.

•At least 3 years of experience in high-paced Internet marketing / publisher relations position (5 years preferred)
•Strong recruitment/sales capabilities; ability to cold-call, up-sell and negotiate with publishers.
•Excellent oral and written communication skills
•Knowledge and familiarity of top web properties and ComScore/ Neilson rankings
•Proactive; able to work independently; tenacious; goal-oriented.
•Ability to meet and exceed individual targets on a consistent basis.
•Enthusiastic, highly motivated individual, hard working; knows what they need to get the job done and is not afraid to work extra hard to achieve this.
•Ability to Travel as needed.
