Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for producing and editing topical promo spots to be aired immediately upon completion
  • Stay current with knowledge of local pro sports teams and use it to write topical promo copy.
  • Stay current on all promotional and graphic trends, productions and software
  • Must be able to work nights and weekends and be flexible depending on the current workload while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Create and maintain a system by which footage can be quickly found and used at a moments notice
  • Perform additional administrative, production and editorial tasks within the Creative Services group as needed on a day-to-day basis
  • Punctual, regular and consistent attendance
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

    Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree required
  • 1-3 years of experience in a media production environment
  • Must have knowledge of all aspects of production including writing, producing, editing, sound, and graphics
  • Expert knowledge of Final Cut Pro. Basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Adobe Photoshop. Must be familiar with Mac OS X. Experience with Cinema 4D is a plus
  • Writing/producing experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products is required
  • Proven creative vision with the ability to utilize existing sports highlights and graphic elements to consistently produce compelling and dynamic commercial spots and show graphics
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail required
  • The ability to multitask and work effectively with minimal supervision under changing priorities and daily time constraints is required
  • Must have a current knowledge and passion of area collegiate and professional sports
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude and leadership qualities with the ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities a must
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours, weekends & holidays
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment
  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
  • Must be 18 years or older
