The role of Associate Manager, Consumer Marketing will afford the right candidate the ability to develop cutting edge customer acquisition and retention skills and learn, hands on, how to build consumer awareness and loyalty across print, online, and mobile platforms. Expect to work in a fast-paced environment, where creativity, risk-taking, and a results-oriented approach are valued.Key Responsibilities:• Develop strategic marketing plans and ongoing test agendas for digital subscriber acquisition across multiple platforms including online, tablets and smartphones• Manage day-to-day marketing activities including creative development, test execution, results analysis, and go-forward recommendations• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as internal and external designers, production, fulfillment, list management• Support manager in executing large scale retention marketing efforts, including evolving our communications strategy and touch points with our consumers• With manager, build consumer awareness of new product launches and consumer loyalty through smart, innovative marketing. Execute all aspects of loyalty program and track consumer engagement as well as impact on retention. Deliver sound recommendations for program improvements to Brand Senior Management• Oversee marketing expense budget, forecasts, and monthly reconciliationsKey Qualifications:• Detail oriented and results-focused• Ability to multi-task and perform in a fast paced, changing environment• Self-starter who can work both independently and in a team environment• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Excel• Ability to think both creatively and strategically• Ability to build relationships across multiple groups and communicate effectively with both peers and upper management, written and verbally• Passion for media – interest in celebrities, entertainment, and fashion a plus!• Bachelor’s degree requiredPosition reports to Marketing Manager.
