BrightRoll Exchange (BRX) is looking for a senior leader to run its Client Development team on the West Coast. In this role the Director, Client Development will lead, manage and mentor an established team of Client Development Managers who are responsible for servicing BRX clients. The Director, Client Development will report to the Vice President of BrightRoll Exchange and be based at HQ in San Francisco.
What You'll Be Doing in this Role:
In this role there will be three primary responsibilities:
1. Team Management & Growth
2. Client Management: In conjunction with Sales Leads and Client Development Managers, you will deepen relationships with key buyers. This includes:
Deliver best-in-class service leading to a steady increase in revenueProactively solicit ongoing customer feedback Establish and help lead quarterly business reviews with strategic buyers
3. Internal Leadership
Be the primary internal voice for the Client Development team needsPrioritize critical features to be built by the Product and Engineering teamsWork closely with Product, Product Marketing, Marketing and Research team leaders to help roll out new offerings and features to BRX buyers
What We're Looking For:
The Hard Skills:
BS/BA Required8+ years of total client management and/or sales experience4+ years of relevant industry experienceSignificant experience managing teams in a service-focused roleProven track record establishing and growing client relationshipsDeep understanding of and experience in the digital advertising industry especially around the dynamics of exchange based buying and sellingIdeally experience with digital video advertising (web and/or mobile)Proven track record working with the leads of other internal teams: marketing, product, engineering, etc.
