Your tasks
Random House is looking to hire an executive with relevant experience to market and grow the Random House Speakers Bureau.

The candidate will:
-Work closely with divisional lecture agents
-Strengthen relationships with existing venues while identifying new venue opportunities in all arenas
-Actively market and promote the bureau and its roster of speakers
-Act as a spokesperson for the Random House Speakers Bureau to external and internal stakeholders
-Manage systematic outreach to existing and prospective venues
-Build out appearance opportunities, particularly in the corporate channel
-Develop programming opportunities
-Oversee core contract terms and identify best practices
-Oversee RHSB website presence and messaging to optimize positioning and discoverability
-Assist in strengthening social media engagement for the bureau
-Manage small corporate team and coordinate divisional directors, working closely with PR department heads
-Identify and evaluate new platforms for speaker engagements with interested audiences and related revenue opportunities

Our requirements
Candidate will bring:
-5-10 years experience in the speaking events industry and broad venue relationships, preferably with particular expertise in the corporate client channel
-Strong business development skills and a proven track record of having grown the business of a lecture agency or relevant events business
-Management experience and excellent communication skills
-Understanding of digital audience engagement platforms
-Organizational and time management skills
-Flexibility to travel when needed
