The Account Coordinator position offers the opportunity to work on some of our highest-profile luxury travel and lifestyle accounts. Applicants should be team players - polished, enthusiastic, service-oriented and eager to learn. PR experience with the travel, real estate and/or lifestyle industries is a plus, but not required. Strong writing and verbal skills are imperative.The position will be responsible for integral support of client teams. ACs must proactively respond to client requests, monitor social media channels and assist team members in executing PR plans. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: developing and maintaining relationships with national, regional, and trade media print, TV, radio and online; coordinating and attending media meetings; monthly client reports; qualifying media leads; management of media lists and databases; sending out press releases; conducting research for new clients and pitches, maintaining and securing clips; maintaining press materials for client files; coordinating travel arrangements; staying on top of trends and current events; internal committees and administrative support- answering phones, mailing and packaging and support at firm events.Qualifications: - College degree and relevant work experience - Excellent social media knowledge and proven execution- Detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated and focused on achievement- An enthusiastic team player- Can thrive in a fast-paced environment- Understanding of / experience in hospitality industry a plus- Can legally work in the US- Excellent computer / web skills- Excellent writing / communication skills - References and writing samples will be requiredStart date: As soon as possibleFor consideration, please email your resume immediately to email@example.com with "Account Coordinator Position" in the subject line.
