Summit Business Media is seeking a talented, customer focused manager with conference and tradeshow experience. The ideal candidate is an energetic, forward-thinking, and creative individual. Candidate will require the ability to work quickly and efficiently on several projects at one time, results oriented, have strong time management skills, and work enthusiastically in a dynamic environment. Candidate will be responsible for the overall logistical and budgetary management of selected events with an emphasis on event Sponsorship & Exhibit fulfillment management. This role will also incorporate a focus on speaker coordination and management.

Responsibilities include:
•Main contact for development, management and execution of sponsorship and exhibition fulfillment on assigned events
•Liaison with sales team on contract and sponsorship development and execution, including but not limited to research, development and management of sponsorship prospectus reports for sales team on assigned events
•Liaison between sales team and S&E Operations Manager on contracts and sponsorship management
•Work closely with the assigned Operations Manager to execute overall goals and plans of event
•Pre-planning for selected events, this includes, but is not limited to on-site execution including staffing, development of run of show, oversight of on-site registration deliverables, floor management, room sets, signage placement, sponsor fulfillment, vendor management, exhibitor manual, registration area requirements, monitoring of equipment orders and event management orders in accordance with S&E contract deliverables
•Budget adherence and analysis for assigned events
•Liability analysis and contingency planning
•Attend conference and manage on-site logistics and day to day work scope; working closely with the other assigned managers
•Regular pre-event meetings with conference team to discuss on-site requirements
•Post-event bill reconciliation and budget reporting
•Provide operational support to other events as outlined by Division Director
•Review the plan of operations regarding overall event
•Complete customer relationship management with all of the speakers booked for the event, consisting of telephone and regular contact from the moment of confirmation to managing pre-event questions from the speakers
•Monitoring of speaker expenses in accordance with the conference production budget
•Liaison with the Program Manager to keep them abreast of any changes in the speaker faculty including potential speaker cancellations and substitutions

•Four year college degree, 5-6 years meeting planning experience
•5-6 years sales assistant experience, preferably in tradeshows and conference exhibit and sponsorship sales administration
•Ability to travel 25-30% of tlme, potential for international travel
•Ability to work in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Proficient in MS Office
•Ability to work effectively and manage up with high level executives
•Detail-oriented multi-tasker with excellent organizational skills
•Work in a team environment, pro-active, relationship building customer service focused, take charge problem solver with outgoing personality
•Ability to effectively create and manage expense budgets for the venue and related sales support costs for each meeting
