Meredith Xcelerated Marketing (MXM) Senior Designers are expected to collaborate in a team environment to help develop and execute a wide variety of creative solutions for all client programs. Responsibilities cover deliverables on program elements, design and layout coordination, and collaboration across teams to deliver on client needs/programs in a variety of channels. The role will support digital channel workflow, design and production of editorial and advertorial layouts across print with digital extensions into email, web and tablet.

II. Essential Job Functions
75% - Design of magazine in print with digital extensions

15% - Design of associated promotional assets, inserts

10% - Production and workflow support
Minimum Qualifications:
All must be met to be considered.

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field; combination of education and experience accepted in lieu of formal degree.

Minimum of 5 years related experience in a creative agency environment.
Must have prior experience working in digital channels.
Strong print background required.

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, In Design).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
DPS, HTML, email marketing skills a BIG plus
An authentic interest in the subject of food
Strong typography and composition skills
Strong demonstration of current design trends and sensibilities
Good understanding of promotional extensions of brands
Illustration and graphics development a plus
Ability to adhere to art team guidelines and departmental processes
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
