The Role
The Bloomberg Digital Distribution team licenses videos and content on multiple platforms to websites, streaming services, print media, television stations, mobile publishers, and other digital platforms.

The Business Development Director will drive revenue growth via the development and negotiation of multifaceted global content distribution agreements with portals, media and other web sites, and other strategic channels. The incumbent will negotiate complex agreements which can include licensing fees, advertising revenue shares and hybrid combinations. The Director will also maintain and optimize all partnerships and will proactively prospect new revenue driving opportunities.

Qualifications:
-8+ year's recent and relevant sales and business development experience at a top tier media company; experience in broadcast TV/cable preferred.
-Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
-Proven track record in the digital media sector
-Existing relationships with web and mobile publishers
-Strong analytic ability
-Proven track record of managing to annual budgets and delivering sales results that exceed goals
-Exceptional creativity and demonstrable history of idea development relevant to emerging technologies and trends in digital media
-Experience in deal term construction, contract development and redline coordination with legal teams
-Strong negotiation and relationship development skills
-History of gaining access to high-level decision makers
-Excellence in comprehending client business models and proactively designing solutions to address the opportunities
-Aggressive, self-starter with exceptional work ethic
-Experience with digital corporate branding initiatives helpful
-Knowledge of the financial news and information industry is a plus
