American Media is seeking a digital sales rock star to join our East Coast sales team. This is a great opportunity to join a driven team in a fast-paced, dynamic and entrepreneurial environment. The Digital AD is responsible for selling cross-platform programs across our suite of premier entertainment sites. This person will take on a large territory with multiple categories and have a huge opportunity to generate a ton of revenue and excel in their role.
Responsibilities:
•Be the main point of contact with clients and manage + develop ongoing relationships
•Be proactive and reactive in responding to RFP’s and pitching program ideas
•Must be a hunter – your constantly on calling on new clients trying to win new business while at the same time managing your current campaigns and maintaining existing relationships
•Attend multiple sales meetings per week with both agencies and clients
•Collaborate with internal teams to develop, execute, launch and manage advertiser programs
•Meet and exceed sales goals
Qualifications:
•Must be resourceful, proactive, detail-oriented and have the ability to multi-task
•Communicate effectively and understand client needs
•Strong presentation and negotiating skills
•Must have 5+ years of experience in digital sales, publishing experience a plus, entertainment properties a double plus!
•You have existing relationships with agencies and clients
