Content Producer/Project Manager
The Content Producer will be responsible for developing and managing a range digital and print projects for a variety clients (corporate and otherwise), coordinating freelance teams responsible for deliverables, as well as managing external client relationships, reporting directly to the in-house management team. The successful candidate must act with a high level of autonomy and demonstrate strong ability to oversee projects from concept through completion, while ensuring client satisfaction. Access to a large pool of a variety of freelancers is a must (designers, developers, programmers, filmmakers, writers, editors, etc.). Candidate will be responsible for the following:--Proposing projects with new and existing clients, including websites, mobile applications, videos, and print publications;--Hiring and managing freelance teams to perform a variety of creative services;--Managing client relationships;--Tracking project budgets and deliverables;--Conducting regular status meetings with project teams and maintaining project schedules; and--Maintaining knowledge of digital trends and industry developments.This is an outstanding opportunity to play an integral role in the expansion of Melcher Media’s portfolio of digital work. The Content Producer must share the company’s creative vision and commitment to quality, thrive in a multitasking environment, and possess the ability to get the job done on time, no matter the challenge.Additionally, candidates for the position must have:--Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of practical experience in a multimedia environment (animation, apps, books, film, games, print publications, video, web);--Sound knowledge of interactive design processes and terminology, digital file formats, and programming;--Computer literacy (Mac) and familiarity with graphics software; --Strong ability to assemble, contract, and manage freelance teams; and--Web design and iPhone/iPad app development are a plus.Please include a cover letter with your resume.
