Position Overview:

Creative, strategic, inspirational and practical, these are just a few of the characteristics you should possess the newly created role of Head of Content & Programming of Vimeo.

Reporting to the VP, Creative Development the Head of Content & Programming will be responsible for operationalizing and leading the teams that curate all site content and produce Vimeo's original videos. While leading these already awesome teams, you'll be in charge of building our audience by helping our Community discover the best of what Vimeo has to offer, and establishing metrics to demonstrate the impact of content programming and production on the business.

What You'll Do:

* Set the editorial direction and tone for Vimeo to engage our unique audience of creators and viewers, and distinguish Vimeo from other video sharing platforms even as we grow.
* Develop a curation strategy that combines human editorial choices and technology in order to help users discover the quality content and community unique to Vimeo.
* Oversee creative development and production of all original Vimeo videos including product release videos, Vimeo Video School educational videos and staff updates.
* Develop scalable team structure and operations: create and manage an editorial calendar; develop tools and best practices for content creation, programming and measurement; establish workflows to ensure smooth Editorial collaboration with Product, Marketing and Ad Sales teams.

Skills and Knowledge You Should Posses:

* At least 10 years of experience with online programming, production and audience development
* Experience building and managing best-in-class editorial teams for a large or rapidly growing property
* Proven experience developing metrics that help determine what's working and what's not (KPI's, ROI, LOL)
* Experience managing and growing creative people and strong ability to communicate how creative initiatives impact the business
* Passion for Vimeo and our Community
* We'd love it if you had a background in film and production
* Huge brains, astounding mental flexibility and rapier wit
* Bachelor's degree required
