Condé Nast seeks a Senior Account Director for a full-time staff position.

Overview/Purpose

Looking for an individual who wants to be a part of Brides -- the world’s biggest bridal brand, launched in 1934. Brides delivers fresh ideas, expert advice and visually inspiring fashion, beauty and lifestyle features to help women tackle the most exciting stage of their lives.

The Senior Account Director is a key member of our sales team and is responsible for generating advertising pages/revenue and digital revenue by identifying prospects, developing strategic plans, preparing presentations, negotiating program packages and schedules, and communicating results or problems to management.

We need you to be a true sales person with the ability to deliver amazing ideas for our clients. We need you to be a self-starter and someone who is motivated by new thinking. With that said, you will be an integral part of the team and will work closely with every member – teamwork is a priority!

Primary Responsibilities
•Responsible for driving revenue by selling integrated packages across platforms including print, digital, mobile, tablet, and event based programs within the Retail, Health & Beauty, and Food & Entertainment categories
•Cultivate, develop and maintain relationships with key advertising decision makers at both the agency and client level
•Utilize marketing and sales collateral, visual presentations, research reports and sales support data to help effectively deliver Brides’ message to clients
•Work with the Marketing Services team to create and deliver creative solutions for clients in order to maximize sales efforts
•Manage all aspects of the sales communication and negotiation process and keep senior management abreast of status by providing accurate and timely business estimates, forecasts, and administrative paperwork
•Represent Brides at industry events and while traveling to promote sales business where appropriate
•Maintain and improve Brides advertising lineage and SOM
•Submit weekly itineraries; generate competitive analysis and share-of-market reports, etc.
•Keep key internal stakeholders informed (i.e. split partners, finance, marketing, etc) regarding account status, proposals, personnel changes, etc.

Requirements:
•At least 5 years of sales experience with integrated platforms a must
•Strategic, consultative selling experience with proven ability to navigate large and complex deals
•Proven experience in creating compelling and persuasive presentations
•Expert negotiation skills with experience in high level sales deals
•Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively while also ensuring accuracy of work through attention to detail
•Experience working for a highly branded property a plus
•Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the aptitude to communicate effectively in both individual and group settings
•Must be results driven, and take appropriate steps to achieve goals while taking ownership of situations as needed
•Proven ability to deliver timely, accurate work product and demonstrate good follow up and follow through
•Drives change and innovation by improving work product or process, and challenges established norms where appropriate
•Proven ability to build supportive and constructive relationships within and outside of the organization
