Junior Sales Person/Coordinator

Serve as an integral part of our company while learning and enhancing your skill set. We are currently seeking a Junior Sales Person/Sales Coordinator for our Travel Group. This position is located in our Secaucus, NJ office. This is an entry- or junior-level sales position, ideal for someone who is looking to launch their career in business-to-business sales. The Coordinator will assist the department as a whole in sales endeavors and goals including prospecting and identifying sales opportunities, as well as provide administrative and sales support to Regional Sales Managers in order to assist them in meeting goals and objectives in a timely, accurate, and professional manner. Responsibilities:•Prospecting, lead qualifying, appointment organizing for sales directors•Maintain and grow the sales pipeline•Liaison with clients on digital metrics and sales order details•Prepare and/or draft proposals, mailings, email blasts, correspondence, memos, letters and sales reports. •Administrative tasks related to sales department.•Prepare Space Reservations for print & digital products and be fluent in Salesforce.com•Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:•A minimum of one year prior administrative experience is required. An additional 1+ years of sales experience is preferred.•BA/BS degree•Knowledge of Salesforce.com is a big plus •Must be resourceful to find prospects on his/her own, qualify leads intelligently and be a great communicator•Technologically savvy – Web demonstration solutions, SalesForce.com, 2.0 wired and the Microsoft Office Suite•Strong business acumen and professionalism, excellent customer focus, attention to detail and outstanding communication skills in all forms•Decisive, resourceful and innovative, with demonstrated success at developing and implementing ideas•Must be independent and self-motivated and have ability to perform well under pressure and against aggressive deadlines in an entrepreneurial/start-up environment.•Results-oriented focus•Exceptional telephone skills, communication skills, organizational and coordination skills. •This job requires a high degree of professionalism and periodically requires working overtime and occasional travel.We offer a competitive salary and benefits plan and a rewarding and dynamic work experience.
