The designer coordinates, designs and produces high-quality print and electronic promotional material in congruence with marketing research to support Institute advancement in every area, including: awareness building, seminar participation, promotion of public events, NewsU student recruitment and program development, fund-raising, brand development, professional influence, social media marketing, media relations and faculty recruitment/engagement. The designer-generated and guided communications should advance, project, and protect the reputation and image of the Poynter Institute and the Poynter Foundation by employing the best cross-media graphics and design techniques, representations and standards.
