The Manager, Integrated Client Solutions, will act as the primary point person in the development of integrated marketing solutions for USA TODAY and USA WEEKEND. This position reports into the Senior Manager, Integrated Client Solutions, and will help to guide the Project Lead on the team. The position will be responsible for the management of all client solutions within their respective categories including creating large custom solutions and managing workflow with internal teams.



•Develop client specific advertising solutions for Gannett, USA TODAY, and USA WEEKEND properties: print, digital, tablet, mobile, OOH, broadcast, events, social.

•Handle key categories, may include: travel, finance, credit cards, insurance, automotive, oil and gas.

•Collaborate with internal and external teams (sales, research, marketing, product team, creative, and more) on the development of all client specific advertising concepts.

• Create innovative presentation and RFPs that “sell your big idea” with strong written communication, visual/graphics, and research.


•Assist Sr. Manager with category feedback from the sales team and the agency/client.

•Collaborate with the Integrated Content team to provide consistent feedback to improve the standard packages.


•Lead creative ideation, brainstorming, and strategy sessions with internal clients.

•Participate in external meetings; ability to verbally communicate your marketing solutions.


•Manage the entire RFP process, includes: solution development, internal tracking, and sales communication.

•Responsible for working with Project Lead to help develop and execute timely, accurate and executable RFP proposals.


•Manage, and assist, in the execution of all large sold client solutions, may include multiple platforms and products: print, digital, table, mobile, social, OOH, merchandising and events.

•Handle the communication with the client to ensure satisfaction with the final product

•Create re-cap presentations outlining the execution, includes analyzing the results against industry standards to showcase a positive result.


BA Degree in Marketing or related field
Experience in the Travel industry is ideal

At least four (4) years directly applicable experience in Integrated Media Sales Marketing working at a world class media company or agency

Proven experience in developing and executing innovative, creative and impactful integrated marketing solutions. Storing understanding of the following: digital, social and events. Print, tablet, mobile and TV experience is helpful.

Experience within the ad sales media industry. Keen understanding of the ad sales revenue process.

Passionate, team player, resourceful, and thinks outside the box.

Ability to effectively manage complex relationships with a variety of internal/external counterparts

Must be comfortable delivering presentations to a variety of internal and external audiences
