Nielsen Games provides primary consumer research and audience measurement for the video game industry; including publishers, first party manufacturers, and advertisers.  Analyst’s primary responsibilities are participating in the design and execution of research studies related to overall category analytics, marketing and communication launch optimization, sales forecasting, and business planning.  Job responsibilities include understanding client research needs, data analysis, and synthesizing analysis into client ready reports and presentations.  Analysts also involved in internal research and development, industry learnings, and product development.  Ideal candidate will possess knowledge and passion of video game industry.    
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of statistics and research techniques, ability to work with large data sets.
- Knowledge of marketing research
- Strong record of academic achievement
- Intellectual curiosity
- Client service mentality
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to organize and multi-task
- Oral and written communication skills


- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience in marketing research or a related field.
- Experience with sales forecasting
- Experience in packaged goods, entertainment or video game categories
- Experience with another language
