Digital Media division of a prominent business-to-business publication is experiencing significant growth and is looking for smart and motivated sales professional to join our Digital Media sales team. We are looking for an ambitious individual with the ability to identify and close business.

The ideal person is a self-starter, a team player and is hungry to prove their potential. We want proactive individuals who aren't afraid to dive in head first and acquire new business.

This individual must be able to lead by example and take ownership of their role.
•Responsible for negotiating and selling online advertising and transactional based marketing placements.
•Develop new business and long term account opportunities through prospecting and cold calling.
•Oversee, maintain and upgrade existing accounts to ensure ongoing client satisfaction.
•Coordinate, manage and resolve account maintenance issues.
•Must be able to effectively interface with VP of Sales, and other C-level executives.
•Complete RFP's and proposals, follow up on submissions and close business.
•Must be passionate about the digital space and have a detailed working knowledge of the industry along with a pulse on what is forthcoming.
•Develop and cultivate long lasting client relationships with all levels including Owners, CEO, CMO, Brand Managers, Agencies and Media buyers.
•Navigate internally with various business units to create compelling Media solutions.
•Help foster innovation and thought leadership while driving new media revenues.
•Review and provide feedback on processes, products that will improve operational efficiencies.

•Experience selling to National tier accounts/agencies.
•Experience in B2B media sales, ad sales, conference sales, consultative selling, publishing, webinar sales, interactive media sales and or event sales is preferred.
•Ability to craft advertising campaigns that meet clients’ needs and deliver ROI
•In-depth knowledge of CPM impression based advertising and reporting
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
•Ability to build business in a wide-open market.
•Media sales experience with a mix of online and offline.
•Demonstrated sales results
•Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required.
