Job Summary:
The Manager of Community Engagement identifies and maintains close relationships with Park user groups who have the potential of becoming members of the Conservancy, while also assisting the Director of Corporate Development with the implementation of the Corporate Partners Program and special projects as needed.

Summary of Essential Job Functions:

Act as main liaison between the Conservancy and Community Partners:
-Develop relationships with longtime and new Central Park user groups and create ways to engage their constituents to become individual members.
-Manage Community Partners Program by updating Community Partners web page; sending member benefits and acknowledgments; processing payments and updating database.
-Work closely with Director of Community Relations to review monthly Park’s Department permit lists for possible new Community Partners; discuss how current Partners are using the Park; identify new user groups and possible revenue channels.
-Manage the Parks Perks Program serving as main point of contact to over 50 program participants offering discounts to Conservancy members and staff; maintain master listing of benefits; work with membership staff to inform members of existing benefits; manage the launch and implementation of seven-day Park Perks Passes.

Work with Director of Corporate Development to support the Corporate Partners Program:
-Coordinate the activation of some partner benefits including Day in the Dirt Corporate Volunteer Program and Teambuilding Days; work with volunteer/recreation department to ensure activities are adequately staffed and planned ensuring quality implementation of the program; work with point of contact from participating partner company, distribute waivers and send project summaries by email; meet and greet corporate group in the Park, collect waivers and provide introduction.
-Coordinate mailings including Day in the Dirt thank you letter from CEO
-Manage the corporate partners email account including all event RSVP’s ; manage seasonal newsletter mailings to partner companies
Manage Special Projects and Campaigns:
-Manage promotion and fulfillment of all revenue generating opportunities of Gilder Run paving stones
-Coordinate special, opportunistic projects/events, mailings, campaigns, including Walk-in-the-Park
-Represent the CPC at community meetings or other events

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least two years development or other relevant experience
- Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)
- Experience with Raisers Edge software preferred
- Valid driver’s license required and must be comfortable driving in Central Park
- Familiarity with Central Park a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
