This is a 3 day per week position to provide support to senior staff with possible increase to full-time


Support senior staff by researching, writing, editing and securing approvals for assigned written materials, including press releases, pitch letters, and new business proposals
Develop strong relationships with journalists and pitch stories to local, national, and international print, online, TV, and radio outlets
Develop media outreach strategies
Maintain database of press contacts, build press lists
Facilitate social media incentive
Serve as day-to-day contact with clients
Support client related events (launches, press trips, trade shows, etc.)
Keep consistently informed about major news and trends in architecture, design, art, real estate and business
Actively engage in the art, architecture and design community


Bachelors Degree with a concentration in Communications, Public relations (preferred). Knowledge of art history, architecture and or design (preferred)
Minimum of 1-2 years experience in public relations or marketing, preferably in an architecture, design or arts-related organization or company
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to produce results on multiple projects simultaneously
Photoshop, Cision and Filemaker essential
