Advertising Sales Associate

This is a great opportunity to work in a customer relationship role with clients globally regarding all aspects of print and digital recruitment advertising. In this role you will need to identify revenue opportunities and advise clients on The Chronicle’s advertising products and services in order to maximize revenue and increase sales, all while providing top-notch customer service. You will also produce ads using professional advertising systems.In this role you will need to have: •Excellent customer service and relationship building skills •The ability to develop an effective rapport with customers in order to help them achieve their advertising needs•Comfort using different systems/technologies; familiarity with Salesforce.com or a compatible CRM system a plus.•Strong multi-tasking skills, the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure, and must be detailed oriented. •Exceptional written and verbal communication skills•The ability to meet and exceed sales goals and targets in order to maximize revenue growth•The ability to build a sales pipeline through email and phone outreach Experience: A minimum of 2 to 3 years' experience in a customer service or an inside sales environment is required.
