Taylor and Francis has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Marketing Manager within the Humanities/Social Sciences marketing team. The successful candidate will manage the marketing textbook for the lists at a global level.

The position will assume global marketing responsibilities for the textbooks publishing across Built Environment, Architecture, Geography, Environment and Sustainability, Sociology, Criminology, Sport and Tourism lists. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong commercial awareness and have the necessary skills to effectively plan and execute successful marketing campaigns to increase core adoptions.

This is a pivotal role within the team, and the successful candidate must have exceptional communication and time management skills. Core daily duties will include;

-hands on marketing launching bespoke campaigns to drive adoptions for our textbooks across all lists, at a global level
-close communication across HE sales teams based in the UK and US
-monitoring and analyzing adoption reports through CAS (Sales Force)
-commenting and commercially challenging new textbook proposals at Editorial meetings, based on market intelligence
-executing effective marketing plans to increase core adoptions for both UK and US markets
-providing sales with necessary sales tools to effectively sell our products
-regular contact meetings held with the HE sales teams across the UK and US
-presentation of information in meetings, with a thorough understanding of the key books publishing, target markets and sales expectations
-regular reporting and analysis communicated to both marketing and editorial teams
-helping to build core adoptions across the lists working closely with UK and US sales teams
-studying competitors' products and services.
Qualifications:

This is a pivotal role within the team, and the successful candidate must have exceptional time management skills and the ability to manage a number of different tasks at any one time. An understanding of the lists and the intended market would be advantageous, but not essential.
