Fairchild Fashion Media seeks an Event Marketing Manager for a full-time staff position.

The Events marketing Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing and executing high-level client events and the FFM Leadership Summits, world-class conferences attracting C-suite executives from the retail, apparel, beauty and footwear industries.  This is an exciting opportunity to be involved with and execute highly visible fashion industry events.
  Responsibilities include:
-          Plan and execute summits/events from start to finish including but not limited to: location/venue selection, theme/concept development, collateral needs, on-site management
-          Work closely with internal staff and external clients/vendor to define goals, objectives, strategies and tactics for each event
-          Oversee procurement, purchasing and client service needs with regards to catering, A/V, security and rentals
-          Prepare and manage event budgets
-          Maintain a calendar of events and venue chart
-          Work with legal on contracts for venues
-          Conduct research that identifies new event opportunities and venues
-          3-5 years marketing/promotion experience
-          Must be a creative thinker
-          Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
-          Must be highly organized with attention to detail
-          Travel is required
