The Partnership at is an established national not for profit organization dedicated to developing innovative communications programs and online solutions that meet the needs of parents and families. We are conducting a search for an experienced assistant account executive to join our growing team. The assistant account executive will work with two teams within the Communications group at The Partnership – the Above The Influence (ATI) team which handles a teen-targeted digital communications campaign and the media relations team which is responsible for securing pro bono support of The Partnership’s advertising messages on the national and local level. The ideal candidate has strong administrative and project management skills and can work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Major Responsibilities
• ATI project management: translate projects into calendars and task lists, create weekly status reports and take ownership of work flow. Ensure that tasks are completed on time and within budget. Troubleshoot stuck processes and seek help from team leaders when appropriate.
• Coordinate and manage The Partnership’s bi-annual media distribution. Work closely with the field operations director, the creative department and outside vendors. Coordinate digital and/or hard copy distribution of PSA’s to local media partners. Manage veil encoding process and alliance/local tagging process.
• Provide analysis and reports of local and national media support on a monthly basis and as requested.
• Provide technical assistance for alliance and coalition activities and detailed task handling/request response.
• Manage all web updates related to the alliance program including the maintenance of The Partnership’s Alliance Partners page.
• General administrative duties including drafting proposals and correspondence, presentations and other communications group and media relations materials.

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications or a related field.
• 1-2 years related advertising agency experience in account management or traffic (internship experience also considered)
• Proven track record of owning projects from start to finish
• Proactive approach to workload, strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) necessary to provide service to our “clients” including alliance partners, key market coordinators, media partners and other volunteers working on behalf of The Partnership
• Strong computer skills to include MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite and WordPress
• Efficiency in database management, on-line research and summarizing/presenting findings to managers and teammates.
• Background in digital media a plus.
