Palgrave Macmillan is seeking an organized individual with the ability to handle multiple print & online reference products. In this role candidate will work on a wide range of promotional campaigns including direct mail, email, advertising, conferences and online promotions. You will also organize meetings, update our database and prepare information packs for sales representatives.

Major Responsibilities:

· Responsible for product positioning and marketing of multiple products
· Liaise with and manage communications with editorial, development & global Sales teams (print & online)
· Prepare copy and proof promotional material
· Maintain general website pages
· Prepare appropriate and engaging presentations when required
· Organize meetings
· Calendar Scheduling: email campaigns, e-newsletters & social media
· Support Marketing Manager in an administrative capacity

Required Skills / Knowledge:

· Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
· Organized; self motivated; able to balance priorities; able to demonstrate a calm and professional approach when working to deadlines: a positive can-do attitude
· Good time management and prioritizing skills
· Understands critical success factors across the marketing mix. Ensures these are in place for every campaign including but not limited to email, direct mail, digital campaigns, conferences, events, advertising and publicity
· Has a proven track record of contributing to successful marketing campaigns and working within a budget
· Skills to work across different levels of seniority
· Ability to Travel

Experience Needed:

· 2 Years of solid marketing campaign experience
· Publishing industry background preferred or equivalent marketing experience successfully supporting Sales Representatives

Educational Background Required:

· Baccalaureate Degree required
